This is forever
Carrie George creates bags that are constructed from 1–3 pieces of leather, and stitched completely by hand. Why does that matter? Hand sewing takes longer, but ensures interlocking of the thick waxed thread. It creates an extremely durable bag that can withstand years of wear. Meaning these bags are an investment that lasts. This idea was the inspiration for creating Carrie George’s brand identity.

The final logo is a combination of a CG monogram merged with the symbol for infinity, communicating that this is forever. The mark is then elevated by pairing with the premium, but approachable feeling Granville typeface. Supporting graphic elements include a cropped logo that is repeated to create a sewn line, referencing Carrie’s hand stitched construction. Lastly the color palette took inspiration from fashion with the intention to complement the main star of the show, leather.
